| Summary : This video press kit
presents Carpentras town, its fountains and its shaded narrow streets. This
historic town is a former property of the popes where the Jews, hounded
out of France by Philippe le Bel, took refuge in 1229. Near Carepentras,
it is to see the Dentelles of Montmirail. During the summer, the region
delights by its colors and flavours. Colors of the lavander fields and of
apricot and cherry orchards trees. Tastes of its summer fruits, of the famous
Muscat AOC of Ventoux. The coolness of the mountains can be appreciated
climbing the Mont Ventoux wich summit peaks at 1909 m of altitude. |
