| Summary
: In approaching the conflicts which have marked Europe over the last
hundred years, each nation has created its own vision of the facts. With
the support of the European Commission, the historians at the Memorial
de Caen have chosen to look at these conflicts together with their Belgian,
British, French, German, Italian and Spanish colleagues.
